“nTelagent looks for strategic partners”

Nashville Business Journal, June 26, 2007

Health care technology company nTelagent Inc. is in "advanced discussions" with a number of customers and is looking to add strategic partners.

The Franklin-based company offers a Self-Pay Management System to health care providers that deals with up-front cash and collection management.

"Our core value proposition is to increase upfront and overall collections, reducing bad debt expense for the health care service provider," says Earl Winter, founder, president and CEO of nTelagent, in a press release.

nTelagent is privately funded by Marty Rash, former founder, chairman and CEO of Province Healthcare Co.; Chris Hannon, former CFO of Province; Joel and Frank Gordon of Crofton Capital; Jeff Rice, health care entrepreneur and physician; and Laura Campbell, private investor and founding executive director of the Nashville Health Care Council.

The company is working with 10 customers, including Nashville-based e+healthcare.
